Hi emilio,
Blanca Medina came to the United States with her four-year-old daughter, Alejandra, to seek refuge after being raped
five times in El Salvador, where she is from.
Now, the U.S. wants to send her back.
Tell Immigrations and Customs Enforcement that they must not put Blanca in danger like this. »Now, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement wants to deport her, despite the fact that none of her rapists have been arrested, including her stalker, and she would be
in extreme danger. Medina tried to explain this to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but they are still continuing with deportation proceedings. While her case is in the processing stage, she is in a detainment center away from her daughter.
This horrible situation began whenBlanca missed a hearing to apply for protection because of medical problems from being raped,
including psychological trauma, and didn't file a motion to open her case within 180 days after her missed court date.
Paperwork is important, but a woman's
life is at stake -- where are ICE's priorities?
| Thanks for taking action!
